Nandu
Rasam / Crab Soup
Crabs
are filled with loads of protein and less fat. They are high source of calcium
too. Crab Rasam/ Nandu Soup are good to have to beat the flu and cough. Some children might be fussy to eat crab but
this soup bring in all nutrients and flavour and kids will love it too. In this
recipe I have used only peppers and green chilly for spice. Pepper usage can be
reduced according to your taste buds.
You can use the crab legs to keep this Crab soup/Nandu Rasam. Crab is
heaty so it helps to develop body heat and dissolves the phlegm easily. Not only it’s a remedy for cold but also a very tasty and nutritious soup!

starter.
Tips:
- The pepper can be adjusted according to the level of
spice you require
- I have used gingelly oil because crabs are too
heaty, you can use any cooking oil.
- Small onions gives an unique taste you can substitute
with big onions too.
- I love the tangy taste so I have juiced lemon juice
at the end, Lime juice is optional.
