Spicy potato fry/ Varuval
Most of them are fond of potatoes and it is a vegetable that can be combined to most of the dishes. There are many versions of potato fry .This is a simple potato fry dish with cumin seeds and garlic. I still remember when I was young I love to eat this potato fry even everyday,with rice as a snack.It can be accompanies with most of the main dishes and this potato fry is perfect for kids lunch box. Try this simple, hot and fiery potato fry.

Ingredients for Potato fry:
Potatoes- 5
Cumin - 1tsp
Onion -1
Garlic- 5 Pods ( Chopped Finely)
Chilly powder -2Tbsp
Turmeric powder-1tbsp
Coriander powder-1/2tbsp
Oil as required
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces
2. Add oil in a kadai, Add the jeera, finely chopped onions and garlic.
3. When onions are well cooked,add the potatoes.
4.Add chilli powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder and stir well

5. Keep fire in medium and stir occasionally and cook for 10 minutes, When potatoes are
cooked uncover,Add two spoon oil and and cook in low heat for 10 minutes in low
heat.This way potatoes will become crispier.
6.Turn off the heat when cooked inside and crisp outside.
7.Simple but Yum potato fry is ready
